The information we obtain about our consumers or customers is extremely sensitive in nature.  We must never compromise their trust that the information will be kept private and confidential.  They have chosen to do business with us and we are obligated to honor that trust with great care.  We have established the following policy to be used as a guideline by our personnel as well as an assurance to our consumers and customers.

Definitions

Consumer-An individual or their legal representative who obtains or has obtained a financial service or product from the bank that is to be used primarily for personal, family or household purposes.  A loan applicant is a consumer.

Customer-A consumer who has established a continuing relationship with the bank by our providing them with one or more financial services or products for personal, family or household purposes.

Nonpublic personal information-Personally identifiable financial information a consumer provides to the bank to obtain a financial product or service; any information about a consumer resulting from any transaction involving a financial product or service; or any information we obtain about a consumer in connection with providing a financial product or service to that consumer.

When a consumer or customer shares their nonpublic information with us, they expect this information to remain private and confidential.  At no time will we compromise this trust during or after their consumer/customer relationship with our bank.

We will collect, retain and use information about our customers only as allowed by law, where we believe it will help administer our business in providing products, services and opportunities for their financial needs.  We will collect nonpublic personal information about our customers from the following sources:
    
     Applications or other forms                            Transactions with us

     Transactions with our affiliates                       Consumer reporting agencies

     Transactions with non-affiliated third parties

We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate informaiton about our customers and their accounts.  Should a customer notify us of inaccurate information, we will investigate their concerns and make all necessary corrections in a timely manner.

Access to customer’s nonpublic information is limited to those employees with a business reason to view such information.  The limitation to access some information is accomplished through the use of computer password authority levels.

New employees will be instructed as to the sensitivity of customer information at their disposal.  They will be required to read this privacy policy as soon as employment begins.  It will also be required of all employees to review this policy annually.  Abuse by an employee as to the standards of confidentially will result in appropriate disciplinary measures.

At no time will we provide account numbers to parties outside the family of companies for marketing purposes.  We will not disclose nonpublic information concerning  customers to affiliated or nonaffliated parties unless:

     The customer authorizes or requests it

     The information will facilitate a transaction initiated by the customer

     The disclosure is lawfully permitted or required

     The information is provided to a credit reporting agency

Presently we do not share nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated third parties.

Those having a continuing relationship with us through the following personal accounts are considered customers under this privacy policy.

     Safe Deposit Boxes                                        Self-directed Individual Retirement 
                                                                            Accounts which we act as custodian or
                                                                            Trustee

We will provide our customers with a copy of the , “Notice of Your Financial Privacy Rights”, brochure on an annual basis.  We will provide a copy of the above named brochure to any consumer at the time a customer relationship is established.  Upon a customer’s request or inquiry into our Privacy policy, it will be made readily available for their inspection.  The request can be made by phone, mail, e-mail or personal appearance at the bank.

Presently our website is used to provide visitors with information concerning our bank only.  We do not collect personally identifiable information regarding the website visitor.
